Psychological Tricks to Make You Awesome :D

Here are some psychological tricks which you can use to be more awesome. You might also feel fooled, since some other tricksters around you might have used these tricks on you.

Talk and hand over

If you don’t want to carry the really heavy bag out of the many while coming out of a supermarket, and want your partner to carry them, simply talk to them and while talking hand them the bag. Mostly they will take the bag instinctively without giving it a thought. Some blessed souls may become confused.

Messing the numbers

If somebody’s trying to count something and you want to mess them up because you’re a jerk, don’t say random numbers, say numbers in an order, because the brain latches onto patterns.

Fool them to eat trick

This trick is for parents. If you want your kids to eat those healthy but not so tempting green veggies, ask them if they want 2 or 5 servings of it, instead of just asking them if they want to eat it. This way you’ve already made the choice for them, but they’ll feel like they’re getting a great deal by choosing the amount they want.

The stalker detector

Ever get the feeling that someone is watching you, but you’re not sure? Try yawning and then glancing at your suspected stalker. If they yawn, then you know they’ve been watching you, since yawning is contagious.

The information getter

Do you wish your friend would open up? Ask him a question, and if he only partially answers it, keep eye contact and remain silent for a few seconds. He will usually continue talking, maybe a bit irritated, but he’ll continue.

Confrontation

If you think someone is going to go off on you in a meeting, sit right next to them. It’s extremely awkward talking bad about someone and being aggressive when they’re so close. No one wants to sit right next to the person they just bad-mouthed, so they’ll take it easier on you.

Nod and make people agree with you

When asking someone a question, get them to agree with you by simply nodding your head. The action makes them start to think that what you’re saying is true, and that they should nod “yes” too, since our behaviours are social.

Hairline insecurity

Make someone feel insecure by looking at their hairline while they speak.

PS: use them at your own risk.
